San Dimas, CA Oct 18, 2011 - The Jam Air Motorsports Nitro Funny Car is loaded up and ready to head for the infamous "Patch" for the 20th California Hot Rod Reunion. After taking a couple of months off and regrouping, this Multistack team is stronger than ever. With some pre-race testing already in the books, the numbers looked good and the team has come together very nicely and is ready to head to the track for race day.
"All of the changes we made were significant and we are elated that we have finally turned the corner with this car." said owner John Martin.
Jam Air Motorsports made the decision to bring in Top Fuel Crew Chief , Brett Johansen for the remainder of the 2011 season and on to 2012. Johansen has been with a Top Fuel Dragster for the past eight years, and this weekend he makes the jump into the Fuel Funny Car ranks. With virtually an all new team they look forward to getting to the track and having a successful weekend.
