Martin and Multistack Funny Car
Team Ready to Defend Their Title
Last 7.0 Pro Race as team looks forward to
moving up to the Nitro Funny Car class in 2011.
Bakersfield, CA October 13, 2010 - Will Martin and his Jam-Air Motorsports team look to take home a second straight California Hot Rod Reunion 7.0 Pro Title. The Multistack Funny Car will be there to defend their title this weekend at the historic "Patch". Martin already took home their second straight trophy, known in the drag racing world as a "Wally", for the 2010 NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series 7.0 Pro Championship at the Arizona Fuel & Gas Nationals back in September. Needless to say, the whole team is fired up for this weekend, as this will be their last race in the 7.0 Pro category.
As one door closes, another opens and in 2011 the Jam-Air Team will be moving up to the Nitro Funny Car class. Martin will roll into the March Meet next year with a brand new Murf McKinney chassis wearing a '69 Mustang body. Multistack will be back as a main sponsor and the whole company is excited to see what Nitro racing is all about.
"It's been great for all of us at Multistack to be associated with the winning efforts at Jam-Air Motorsports. The professional high performance DNA at Jam-Air is a perfect fit for the way we approach our own industry! We're looking forward to making the same impact with Nitro that we did with Alcohol! These are guys that Multistack and its customers can really get behind. See you at the races!" said, Mark Platt, President of Multistack.
In addition to Multistack, Prolong, DJ Safety and Jackson's Auto Supply will be back again in 2011. Crane Cams and AFT Clutches will be joining them as product sponsors.
Martin is looking forward to getting the new car finished for pre-season testing in January. "The 2011 program marks a new adventure with some familiar faces from our past rejoining us while embark on a new challenge." said, Martin. This new challenge will take them to several different tracks across the country on the NHRA Heritage Series circuit, as well as some IHRA events.
Martin, as the Director of Centrifugal Product Development for Multistack is also looking forward to the business side of this program. The Jam-Air Motorsports Nitro Funny Car will be part of a new program and will have direct interaction with Multistack rep, contractors and end users while promoting the Multistack family of chillers. At these events customers will be exposed to new and existing products while having direct interaction with the factory. Multistack is known for delivery reliable energy efficient chiller solutions that help decrease operating and maintenance costs while reducing carbon footprint. Martin and the entire Jam-Air Motorsports team would like to thank Mark Platt and Charlie Kenyon from Multistack for this amazing opportunity.
