Jam Air Motorsports Heads to Sin City
San Dimas, CA - May 25, 2011 - The Multistack Nitro Funny Car is heading to Las Vegas this weekend for the 3rd stop in the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series points chase. Vegas has been good to Martin in the past. With Lady Luck on his side while in the alcohol Funny Car, he went to the 7.0 Pro final the last 2 years at the Rockabilly Reunion. Last year he came home with the win. This time the Jam Air team is hoping the luck will stay with them for another victory.
"It's going to be hot up there and our goal is to make good strong consistent runs down the track and try not to hurt parts." says Will Martin, driver of the Multistack Funny Car.
The team made a test pass at Auto Club Famoso Raceway last weekend in preparation for the upcoming Rockabilly Reunion. They seem to have got the car back on track and are ready to pack up and head to the desert.
"We learned a lot in testing last weekend and made some steps in the right direction. We are starting to get on the right side of the curve with this thing." said John Martin, owner of Jam Air Motorsports.
Las Vegas is also at the forefront of technology as Multistack just recently completed a large Central plant featuring Mag Lev Chillers with Optix controls. Working with the Multistack Las Vegas rep, Mechanical Products Nevada, Multistack created a 1000 ton central plant for Clark County School District featuring 2 MSF 500 Chillers in an all variable primary central plant controlled via Optix Controls.
At the recently completed ASHRAE convention, Multistack offered tours through this plant to showcase it performance. "This plant costs less than 8 dollars an hour to run and that's pretty amazing," said Dan Thatcher, the executive Vice President of Mag Lev Retrofit Solutions.
Multistack also just learned that this project has won the 2011 Danfoss Envisioning Award which will be awarded in June. This award helps solidify what others know, Multistack Chillers coupled with Optic Controls creates the most energy efficient chilled water plants in the world!
The Jam Air Nitro Funny Car always looks great, thanks in part to Prolong and their amazing line of car care products. Be sure to check out their complete line of engine treatments, oil additives, penetrating lubricants, greases and more.
